NEET 2018 updates | Good News – NIOS, Open School Candidates Can Also Now Apply Online

Good News for NEET 2018 exam aspirants as SC stays orders on restrictions imposed on applying for the test online. CBSE NEET (UG) 2018 exam notification is available on official website of the education board as the conducting body of the test online. With candidates all aspiring to take NEET 2018 exam this year in May, several aspirants were debarred from taking the test.

NEET 2018, Open School Candidates Can Now Apply For Exam

NIOS and other open school candidates who were earlier barred from applying for NEET exam online have now been granted permission to do so. With no official word on whether they would be allowed to sit for the NEET exam on May 6, 2018 or not, at least these candidates shall now be able to apply online for the exam.

With its online application date deadline approaching nearer day by day, the debarred candidates who had filed petitions eagerly awaited its verdict. The court has now allowed such candidates to apply for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination scheduled to be held in May 2018 this year.

The restrictions imposed on the candidates in terms of upper age limit and open school category candidates in applying from NEET 2018 took an ugly side this time as candidates felt deceived via such harsh norms. Bringing some sigh of relief to them, NEET 2018 aspirants have now been allowed to fill and submit online application forms at online.

NEET which serves as the medical entrance exam for candidates who wish to pursue UG courses in fields like MBBS, BDS in topmost medical colleges of repute is conducted by CBSE every year. Also, the verdict remains pending with the court and shall be released in the first week of April 2018. Candidates have only been allowed to submit online application forms for NEET 2018 and it is still not clear whether they would be allowed to take the test or not.
